Standing up without help

E stood up from sitting on his own without any help.

Learning time

E put the triangle block in the triangle hole today in the sorting block.  Yeaaaahhhhh. Next went the cylinder in the circle hole.

Busted lip on boxing day

E tripped and fell down and busted his lip.  I was in the kitchen and went running to see what the crying was about.  Deepoo was holding E, who had a bloody mouth.

Looking back to when that had happened to Arya, I had completely freaked out.  I was a lot calmer this time.  Guess second time around we are not jumping at every cry and fall.

E took his first steps today without help all on his own.  He wanted the cookies that his big sister was eating.

2 front teeth

Eishan has his 2 front teeth. It has been about 2 weeks now that he had been teething.  2 of his teeth are half way out.  His favorite chew toy is his fingers or one of ours if he can get hold of it.

Eishan had his first round of rice Cereal today. He seemed to enjoy it.  One week and then we get to introduce a vegetable. ...

Annaprasanna - first grain of rice

Eishan had his Annaprasanna today.  Mummy made rice kheer and offered it to Krishna. Then Eishan was supposed to taste but he managed to eat half a tsp full of the kheer. He is so ready to start solids.

First long trip

We did our first long road trip in Australia to the Gold Coast.

This was Eishan's first long road trip.

Word of wisdom from Dada to 6 week old Eishan

Eishan was fussy so dada (paternal grandfather) was trying to calm him down. Here goes the one sided conversation:

Dada: Life is not fair. You have to learn to compromise.

And a few more words that I missed, but lets wait and see if Eishan remembers this conversation with his dada.

Welcome to our newest member

Eishan Hinduja make his entry into this world on the 9th of January, 2014 in Sydney Australia at the Royal North Shore hospital at about 4:30 am.

He is a very unexpected but pleasant surprise, who is very much wanted and loved by all around him.

Eishan busted my lip

Eishan moves his head a lot when we are holding him. He has some control on his neck movements but not very well. So one of those time when he was bobbing his bead back and forth, he slammed it on to my lip and busted it..

My 7 week old baby boy just busted my lip.. hope this is not an indication of future bangings.. :)
