Eishan's creation with blocks

October 31st 2016

Eishan brought his bag of blocks and asked Arya to play with him. But she was busy with other things, so eishan walked off with his bag of blocks. A little while later I hear the sound of blocks being dumped. Of course my first thought is "one more thing added to my clean up list" since he didn't dumpthe blocks in the play area.

I go about getting dinner ready and Arya ready for trick  or treat walk in our neighborhood. When it walk over to get Eishan ready I am surprised at what I see - he has built something for the very first time all on his own with his blocks. Finally he was building rather than breaking down. Hope it lasts....

E threw up for the first time

Dallas heat has been horrible. Between the heat, not eating much and exhaustion from late nights at the wedding events  - E threw up yesterday morning (6th Aug 2016). 

Day 2 E daycare

E has been clingy wanting me to hold him more often. I guess he understands that his time at school is time away from mommy. But he is being a trooper about it, I am so proud is him. Today he was waiting by the fish tank and when Ms Jan asked if he wanted to go to Ms Alice's classroom, he quietly followed her . Again he was they for just over an hour and he seemed fine when he came back. 

Eishan starts daycare

We decided to send E to CTM, same place Arya went to. I like their philosophy of easing the child into a new environment , all other schools had asked us to drop Arya cold turkey. I think that is a little harsh. 

Well day 1 went well. E was there for 1hr and 15 mins and he went willingly with Ms Alice to her classroom. When he came out he looked a little sad and wanted me to hold him. But other than that not a bad first day. 

Potty training

Eishan pooped in the potty. I had been thinking about starting Eishan's potty training for a while now - but there has always been a reason to wait. Well today he seemed to be trying and was having difficulty - so I asked him if he wanted to use the potty. He nodded yes and wallah we have poopy in the potty... 

Grapes

I have been trying to get Eishan to eat finger foods,  but so far the only thing he would eat are veggie fries.  Everything else gets either crushed or thrown out both.

Finally today he wants to eat grapes. .. yay!!! Hope it lasts
